THE BUSY TODDLER
Westies are wonderful, hardy little Terriers with LOTS of
smarts. This breed is robust, cocky, and spunky and loves
to play with children & adults. Very easily trained, the Westie
is very friendly, and loves to travel. They just love companionship
and it shows.
They do not shed and do not need to have a bath very often,
so very little grooming is required, just BRUSH & GO. We do
suggest you take it to the groomer once a year to have its
hair cut real short, this will keep it cooler in the summer.
Our Westies are about 12-18 lb., with no health problems that
we know of. They do great in the country with lots of space
or in an apartment if walked regularly & exercised.
Did you know they originally are from SCOTLAND? They are related
to the Cairn Terrier and The Scotty. They were bred to HUNT
FOX, OTTER, RATS and any other rodents.
The WESTIES normal life span is about 15 years. |
