Welcome to Edmunds Kennels. My name is Jean and my husband is Jim. Our kennels are located in Macon, Ga., on beautiful Lake Tobesofkee, just one hour south of Atlanta.

We kind of fell into this business 16 years ago because of our love of dogs. In search of a Rat Terrier for a pet, we soon realized just how scarce they were in the Macon area, forcing us into acquiring "Tiger II" from Portland, Oregon.

Being such a terrific breed, it wasn't soon afterward that other people had started approaching us in search of a dog like ours. Because of the increase in demand for "little dogs with big personalities," and our love of dogs, we began raising a select group of small breed dogs.

We raise friendly, loving and well-socialized puppies. Great personalities and temperaments are of paramount importance to us. From the time they are born, we HOLD and LOVE them, assuring a well-adjusted puppy suitable for any family (we do not raise puppies for any commercial operation or pet stores).

The select breeds we raise are great with children and enjoy running, jumping, playing ball, and LOTS of affection.
